Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Dehradun Region was established in the year 1993.At that time this region comprised 50 schools ( including 2 double shifts school ), around 2350 teachers, and around 46000 students.

Now this region comprises 47 schools including 2 double shift schools, around 2051 teachers, 2079 staff and 41703 students.

KV ITBP, Dehradun (Shift-I) was established in December, 1987.
It is a 2 shift school with around 2300 students in both shifts. It comprises of latest facilities (as per KVS) and proper infrastructure. It is located near premises of ITBP, dehradun.
